Villarreal have successfully progressed to their first-ever UEFA Champions League semi-final, after Samuel Chukwueze came off the bench to score the game-winning goal against Bayern.
In a remarkable effort, Emery’s team defeated the German champions in two games.

Lewandowski grabbed the game’s opening goal with Bayern’s only effort on target, but Chukwueze came off the bench to score the equaliser, beating Neuer in the 88th minute.
The away fans were overjoyed, the Villareal players were in tears, and Bayern’s players couldn’t believe they just lost 2-1 on aggregate.
The Yellow Submarine have qualified to the Champions League semi-finals for only the second time in their history, after overcoming one of Europe’s best clubs.
