Danish Superliga club Randers FC has confirmed the signing of Vincent Onovo from Hungary’s Ujpest FC on a 3-year deal.
Ujpest wrote on its official website
“Onovo has sold his playing rights to the club, so he will continue his career at Randers FC today”
Vincent will join Tosin Kehinde and ex-Austria youth-teamer Marvin Eghooo at the Danish Superliga club.
“I have got a really good impression of Randers FC, who have seemed genuinely interested and with a good plan for me on the team. It is a team that works really well and I look forward to contributing to a hopefully fantastic season for the club,” says Vincent Onovo.
Meanwhile, the midfielder is not eligible to play in Randers’ next two matches against Galatasaray in the Europa League Playoff, but will surely play in upcoming group games.
“There are some exciting matches that I would love to be a part of. However, I hope that my new teammates can create the surprise, and then I am really looking forward to making my debut and getting started fighting for the club and the fans,” Vincent told the Danish club website.
During his time in Hungary, the 25-year-old Nigerian made 110 appearances for Ujpest, scoring five goals and providing 5 assists.
