Onyedinma named in English Championship team of the week

Nigerian youngster, Fred Onyedinma has been named in the first English Championship Team of the Week for the new season after his debut for Luton Town on Saturday.

Onyedinma grabbed a goal and two assists to his name to help his side secure a 3-0 win over Peterborough.

The 24-year-old set up the opening goal for England-born Nigerian forward Elijah Adebayo in the 30th minute before setting up Harry Cornick to double the lead in 68th minute.

Onyedinma then completed the rout with the third goal in 71st minute to cap off his superb performance and was named Man of the Match.

His impressive performance earned him a spot in Championship Team of the Week which is in a 3-5-2 formation with Onyedinma on the left side of the five-man midfield.
