The 23-year-old forward – Rasheed Akanbi has successfully switched from the Turkish team Kocaelispor to FC Sheriff in the Moldovan First Division.

Rasheed Akanbi was sold by Kocaelispor for a transfer price of 67,500 Euros after the team finished the previous season in 16th place and narrowly avoided relegation.

Football411 learned that the transfer deal involved the sale of the Nigerian player included additional additional payout clauses.

If the Moldovan club competes in the 2022–2023 UEFA Champions League group stages, Kocaelispor will receive 80,000 Euros.

FC Sheriff will also get to pay 20,000 euros and 40,000 euros, respectively, should they advance to the group rounds of the UEFA Conference League and Europa League, respectively.

In contrast, Kocaelispor will also receive a 10% cut of the player’s eventual sale.

Ibrahim Akanbi Rasheed will be seeking to improve his form with his new team mates after managing just three goals in 15 appearances for Kocaelispor in the TFF 1 League during the 21/22 season.
