Nigerian striker Cyriel Dessers starred off the bench to help Rangers secure a comprehensive 5-0 victory over Dundee in the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old scored within two minutes of his introduction to seal the victory for the visitors, who are now second in the table.
Ryan Jack, Danilo, Sam Lammers, and James Tavernier also scored for Rangers in a dominant performance, while Leon Balogun delivered a strong defensive performance.
The match at Dens Park was one-sided from the start, with Rangers taking a 2-0 lead into halftime. Jack opened the scoring in the fifth minute, before Danilo doubled the advantage with a brilliant solo goal early in the second half.
Lammers added a third in the 74th minute, before Dessers replaced Danilo and quickly made his mark. The Nigerian striker found the net with a clinical finish to put the game beyond doubt.
Tavernier completed the rout with a late penalty kick, securing a vital three points for Rangers.
The result sees Rangers move up to second place in the table, just five points behind league leaders Celtic. Dundee, meanwhile, drop to ninth place.
Dessers and his teammates will now turn their attention to their upcoming Scottish League Cup fixture against Hearts at Hampden Park on Sunday.
