Arsene Wenger is keen to make signings this month after offloading Johan Djourou and Marouane Chamakh.
Wenger insists that that has freed up space in his squad for new recruits.
“LetÔÇÖs first keep the players we have and maybe add one or two”, he told Arsenal.com. “We lost Chamakh and Djourou now, so thereÔÇÖs some room.”
Former Arsenal captain Martin Keown also believes that Arsenal are “certain” to bring in new faces after Theo Walcott’s future has been finalized, something which he claims is a necessity as Arsenal look to challenge for honours and end a trophy drought dating back to 2005.
