Vinicius: I will work hard to give Real what they deserve

A​fter making an assured first appearance for Real Madrid in their match with Manchester United ,

Vinicius Jr. has pledged to fans that he will make sure Los Blancos get the best of him.

The 18-year-old finally completed his 45 million euro move to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu , and was the standout for Real Madrid in their International Champions Cup match against Manchester United , despite a 2-1 defeat.

“I have fulfilled a childhood dream by wearing the Real Madrid shirt, and regardless of the result I am very happy,”

Vinicius Jr. told reporters in Miami after the match.

“Everything felt good, but there is still a lot to do in order to improve for the season ahead.

“Everyone here [at Real Madrid ] has helped me to adapt as quickly as possible, I am very happy and grateful [for this] and the International Champions Cup is a good opportunity for me.”

Juventus are next up for Julen Lopetegui ‘s side at the FedExField in Landover , Maryland on Sunday
