Roma insist they have not received any offers for goalkeeper Alisson despite reported interest from Liverpool and Chelsea.
The Brazilian international caught the eye with a stunning campaign last time out to help the Italian club reach the Champions League semi-final.
Those displays led the Premier League giants plus Real Madrid to be linked with a swoop for the 25-year-old.
Roma are believed to be open to offers for the star, who joined them from Internacional in his homeland back in 2016.
However, the Serie A side’s sporting director Monchi insists no club is yet to lodge a bid for the stopper and fans can expect him to be staying put at the Stadio Olimpico as it stands.
He said: “He has the same chance of staying as all the other players we have not received any offers for.
“If one arrives, we will study it and make a decision.
“We are working out when he will return to training after his post- World Cup holiday – ready to do even better than he did last season for us.”
The keeper is valued at £70million by Roma – a figure that has seemingly cooled Liverpool’s interest.
Chelsea still have Thibaut Courtois, who will line-up f0r Belgium against France tonight in the World Cup semi-final , as their No1.
But the ace continues to be linked with Madrid, where his young family still live, and speculation was mounting over his future.
He only has a year remaining on his deal at Stamford Bridge and it was claimed the Blues could be tempted to cash in and replace him with Roma’s South American.
Elsewhere, reports in Spain last month stated Alisson was set to move to the Bernabeu .
Mundo Deportivo said he had agreed a six-year contract with the Galacticos and only a fee needed to be agreed between the two clubs.
The goalie is currently on holiday after he and his Brazilian team-mates saw their World Cup hopes ended with a 2-1 quarter-final defeat to Belgium on Friday.
