Victor Moses on Wednesday scored a stoppage time goal to earn Chelsea a 3-2 home win over Shakhtar Donetsk in their Champions League Group E match.
Moses headed in a Juan Mata corner 93rd minute.
The Super Eagles striker found the target barely 12 minutes after replacing Brazilian Oscar.
Moses goal came just eight days after scoring another goal in the Premiership in a 1-1 away draw at Swansea.
However, there was some disappointment for his compatriot Mikel Obi who started and finished the game.
Mikel’s 66th minute header from a Mata free kick was ruled for offside by Spanish referee Carlos Velasco to see the Super Eagles midfielder maintain an agonising five-season long Chelsea goal draught.
Meanwhile, Chelsea took a 6th minute lead through Fernando Torres who poked in a poor back pass.
The lead lasted just three minutes before Willian returned to haunt Chelsea again after scoring one in Shakhtar’s 2-1 home win in the first leg meeting a fortnight ago.
Oscar put Chelsea back in the lead in the 40th minute when he let rip a volley after collecting a poorly parried clearance by goalkeeper Andriy Pyatov to go 2-1 into the break.
But Willian restored parity with a sweet shot from a move he started after initially passing the ball to  Fernandinho before Darijo Srna teed up for the Brazilian to complete his brace.
Shakhtar stay top despite the defeat on seven points, one ahead of Juventus and three ahead of third placed Chelsea.
