Jose Mourinho has no intention of quitting Manchester United, according to reports.
The Times report that Mourinho barely spoke to his players in the dressing room after their 3-2 defeat to Brighton on Sunday.
Despite his dark mood at the Amex, the Portuguese wants to stay on and turn things around.
According to reports, some of United’s players believe it is just a matter of time before Mourinho is replaced.
But fans are turning on Ed Woodward – not Mourinho.
It has been revealed that fans have paid for a plane to fly a protest banner calling for Woodward to go.
Is Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho the happy one, the special one or the miserable one?
It will be aimed at the United supremo and the club’s owners during the clash at Burnley a week on Sunday.
The Turf Moor protest will be the first time United fans have staged this sort of stunt since some turned on David Moyes.
Woodward failed to land a centre-back, despite Mourinho asking for Harry Maguire and Toby Alderweireld.
However, Woodward’s job is not thought to be under threat due largely to his ability to bring in huge commercial deals for the Glazer family.
The club’s shares surged to an all-time high this week, taking United’s value to more than £3billion.
