Coach Samson Siasia has invited 30 players for a training camp in Abuja ahead of a 2016 Olympic qualifier between either Ghana or Congo in July.
Ghana and Congo will clash this weekend and the overall winners over two legs will battle Nigeria for a place in the final qualifiers slated for Senegal in December.
The core of the call-ups is made up of the players who have featured for the Nigeria U23 in All Africa Games qualifier against Gabon and Zambia.
These players will include goalkeepers Daniel Emmanuel and Abiodun Akande, Erhun Obanor, Azubuike Okechukwu, Tiongoli Tonbara, Freedom Omofoman, peter Onyekachi and Junior Ajayi.
Also called up are midfielder Eteobong Elisha from Tunisian club Esperance as well as three players not attached to any clubs – Ekpo Godwin, William Memme, Moses Omoduemuke.
Training will begin on June 1.
