Alexis Sanchez could be facing an injury lay-off after he reportedly ran into a referee official during Manchester United home defeat to PSG.
The Chilean was introduced on the stroke of half-time at Old Trafford after an injury to Jesse Lingard.
while the 30 year old was preparing to come on and in the process of having a quick jog, Sanchez was floored after colliding with Italian linesman Fabiano Preti as he became distracted by the action on the pitch.
Sanchez recovered to replace Lingard but told United’s coaching staff he had taken a knock and was subsequently kept out on the pitch during the half-time period.
Sanchez is in race against time to be fit for the FA Cup clash with Chelsea and has join the long list of players in doubt to face the London based club on the 18th of February.
