Real Madrid are in the Champions League final in Kiev and they owe Keylor Navas a huge debt of gratitude.
The goalkeeper played his best game at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu and prevented Bayern Munich knocking the reigning champions out.
Eight decisive interventions, including three from Lewandowski, Alaba and Tolisso.
Usually questioned after some mistakes, Navas buried the debate of whether Real Madrid needs another goalkeeper.
He has already won two Champions Leagues with Madrid, and now wants a third.
“I am very happy, thankful to God because it was a very difficult game, they are a great team,” he said after the game.
“We suffered a lot but we are in the final, which is what we wanted, we are making history and fighting until the end.
“We are going to prepare well for the final, respecting the opponent but with a lot of desire to win.
“I want to thank the fans for their support, we have to enjoy it all together and go with the same mentality to Kiev.”
