Real Madrid have reportedly earmarked Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez as a potential loan signing, should they miss out on Radamel Falcao or Alvaro Negredo.
The Galacticos are looking to strengthen their striking options before the close of the transfer market on Monday evening and have been heavily linked with last-minute moves for Monaco’s Falcao or Negredo from Manchester City.
Real are, however, unwilling to leave anything to chance and are believed to have approached the Red Devils over a potential loan deal for the out-of-favour Hernandez.
The Mexico international is thought to be ready to jump at the chance to join the 10-time European champions, having failed to secure any sort of regular game time at Old Trafford since joining in 2010, highlighted by his role as an unused substitute in the goalless draw at Burnley on Saturday.
