Pellegrini: Tough games coming up

Manuel Pellegrini is grateful for the rest Malaga received during the international break, in respect to ÔÇÿsome very difficult games coming upÔÇÖ.

The Costa del Sol outfit face European qualification rivals  Rayo Vallecano and Real Sociedad in the League, as well as Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

ÔÇ£ItÔÇÖs always good for a team to have a bit of time off. We used this time to recharge our batteries and ensure each player is prepared for the forthcoming matches,ÔÇØ commented Chilean Pellegrini in todayÔÇÖs Press conference.

ÔÇ£I hope weÔÇÖll see an improved Malaga on the pitch tomorrow, back at the same high level weÔÇÖve maintained for the majority of the year. WeÔÇÖve got some very difficult games coming up.

ÔÇ£Rayo have had a great season so far. Technically speaking, theyÔÇÖve got some quality players, and they are a tough rival for any team.

ÔÇ£WeÔÇÖre determined to come home with three points that we let slip away from our last encounter with Rayo at La Rosaleda, knowing they are one of the best teams in the League.┬á

ÔÇ£ItÔÇÖs tough to predict what will happen tomorrow, as both teams work well with the ball.ÔÇØ

After the test in Madrid, the Anchovies will face Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final.

ÔÇ£It takes a lot out of a team taking part in the Champions League, and we are fairly anxious about the midweek match.

ÔÇ£However weÔÇÖre solely focused on tomorrowÔÇÖs game at the moment. With regards to the line-up, we always select the best players to win the game.ÔÇØ
