Barcelona and Brazil striker Neymar has returned to training after recovering from a fractured vertebra.
The 22-year-old suffered the injury in Brazil’s quarter-final victory over Colombia, when the knee of opposition defender Juan Zuniga caught him in the back.
After a month of recuperation, the former Santos man is back out on the pitch.
“Neymar is back in training with the rest of the first-team squad,” read at statement on Barcelona’s official website.
“He will be given a thorough examination by the club’s medical services to evaluate his recovery.”
Also back in training with the Catalan outfit were Lionel Messi, Javier Mascherano and Dani Alves, who were all given extended breaks after their exploits at the World Cup.
