Nigeria’s Obafemi Martins and Innocent Emeghara were on target Saturday night for their teams in the MLS as San Jose Earthquakes defeated Seattle Sounders 3-2.
Nigeria-born Switzerland international Emeghara put San Jose Earthquakes 3-1 up when he struck in the 70thminute.
Obafemi Martins gave Sounders hope when he scored their second goal in the 84th minute to take the game to 3-2.
He has now scored two goals in as many games in the MLS season 2015.
The two Nigerians exchanged jerseys after the game.
Unknown Nigerian Fatai Alashe was on parade for San Jose Earthquake for the entire duration of the game.
