Serie-A league leaders Juventus moved four points clear at the top of Serie A as they returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory at Cagliari.
The italian black & white stripe giants had drawn their last two games to see their lead at the top cut to just a point by second-placed Roma, but they never looked in danger in Sardinia from the moment Carlos Tevez stabbed home the opener after only three minutes.
Carlos Tevez scored from close range – his 10th goal of the season – before Arturo Vidal netted a superb first-time curling shot into the corner.
Fernando Llorente turned and fired home after half-time to make it 3-0 before Luca Rossettini headed in for Cagliari, who remain in the relegation zone.
The Turin giants are four points clear of Roma, who host AC Milan at the 70,634 Stadio Olimpico on Saturday.
