Ibrahim Gbadamosi of Chykap International FC, Lagos joins FC Oqtepa, Uzbekistan

Its was a dream come true for 21years old, Ibrahim Gbadamosi as he passes medicals and pens his signature on a 1 year contract with FC Oqtepa in the 2020/2021 Uzbekistan Professional football League season.

Ibrahim’s deal was made possible through a strong collaboration between Mr Darah, King Jehoshephat, an NFF licenced intermediary based in Uzbekistan and the management of Chykap International FC Lagos, led by the Team President Mr Ota, Maxwell Ama.

Chykap International FC is a Lagos based team known for their resilience in walking the path with young talented Nigerian players with the sole aim of bringing their talents to life, manifested in the many players currently in various leagues outside Nigeria whose deals were secured through them.

During the unveiling ceremony of Ibrahim Gbadamosi with his favourite number 17 Jersey on 16th March 2020 by the team officials, our correspondent was able to establish the recipe for this success via a quote from the player:

“I thank God for making my dream of playing professional football overseas a reality and also salute my Chairman/my Boss/my mentor (Mr. Philip Chilaka) for providing this golden opportunity and selflessly guiding me through the entire process by providing me with funds and plenty motivation that has made me achieve my goal. I promise to make you proud sir and make my family proud by scoring many goals and never to let you down sir” – Ibrahim said.

FC Oqtepa team officials also commended the high level of discipline, hardwork and high goal scoring instincts from Ibrahim since he joined the team on trials in October 2019. We are convinced he will make a great asset to our squad this season.
