Fiorentina set to terminate Marko Marin loan deal

Serie A side Fiorentina are set to become the second Italian club to terminate a loan-deal with Chelsea as they plan to send back Marko Marin next month after failing to impress.

Reports suggest that the German midfielder could become the second Blues player to be sent home early from a loan-deal, as AC Milan are reportedly desperate to send back Fernando Torres just months into a two-year loan-deal.

Both Italian sides are unhappy with the performances shown by Torres and Marin, and they are both ready to send them back to England in the New Year once the January transfer window re-opens.

Marin, who was out on loan last season as well, has struggled to impress during his brief spell in Italy, making just four appearances, and all of them coming in the Europa League, and officials at the club are now ready to terminate the deal.

A season-long loan was agreed back in the summer between the two clubs, with a view of making the move a permanent one next year with a £4 million fee agreed to. However, Fiorentina have been less than impressed by the 25-year-old, and are now ready to end the loan completely.
