Atletico Madrid striker, Radamel Falcao has reportedly agreed to join french side Monaco on a 10 million euro’s per year salary.
According to Spanish television satiation, La Sexta, Monaco will cough out the ColombianÔÇÖs 60 million euro’s release clause and feature him and the foundation for the recently promoted club.
Falcao has been linked to virtually every major club, but most recently it was being reported that he would join Chelsea, which would potentially be managed by current Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho.
While MonacoÔÇÖs football club is not a household name, they are widely considered the next Manchester City or Paris Saint Germain.
None of of the parties involved have commented on the report, but the timing is similar to that of Borussia DortmundÔÇÖs Mario Gotze announcing he will play for Bayern Munich next season just before their Champions League clash against Real Madrid, the same Real Madrid that Atletico will play in the Copa del Rey final on 17th May.
