Another good weekend for the eagles, As some turned out impressive performances for their respective clubs. Starting the eagles round up, let’s head to Belgium:
Moses Simon : the in form forward scored the winning goal for his team Gent, as they enjoyed a slim 1-0 victory over opposition Zulte-Waregem. This makes it two game weeks the forward has scored consecutively. Well done Simon.
Uche Agbo: the Eagles midfielder was on the pitch as his team Standard Liege battled to a 1-1 draw against Royal Antwerp.
Henry Onyekuru: it was a productive weekend for the on loan forward , as he netted the winning goal for Anderlecht as they battled to a slim 2-1 win over Lokeren. The forward scored the winner on the 52nd minute after both teams were level at halftime.
Abdul Ajagun: another eagle who found the net over the weekend. The forward opened scoring for his club in the 6th minute as they enjoyed a comfortable 4-0 victory over Waasland-Beveren.
Taiwo Awoniyi: the on loan forward played the entire 90 minutes of the game as his team Royal Mouscron were held to a 1-1 draw by St. Truiden.
Oghenekaro Etebo: it was heartbreak for the eagles midfielder as his team suffered a painful loss to Ave over the weekend. Feirense were unlucky as they conceded a 90th minute goal which ensured that they left the match without a point.
Kenneth Omeruo and Emem Eduok: it was not a good weekend for the eagles duo, both were on display as Kasimpasa was thumped 4-2 by Turkish giants Fenerbache .
William Troost-Ekong and Michael Agu: Both men were missing in action as their team Bursaspor played out a comfortable 3-0 victory over Konyaspor.
Abdulahi Shehu: the eagles right back played the entire duration of the match as his team Anorthosis Famagusta enjoyed a 1-0 victory over Nea Salamis.
Bryan Idowu: The right back played the entire duration of the game as his team Amkar was thumped 3-0 by FC Ufa. Fegor Ogude was also on display for 90mins.
Victor Moses: Yes he is back!!!! The resilient wing back was back into the team with an impressive display against Newcastle. The wingback provided two assist for his team, first was a pin point cross to Morata, the second was winning a penalty after he was fouled by Matt Ritchie in the box.
Wilfred Ndidi : The ever present midfielder was on display as his team enjoyed a slim 1-0 victory over rivals Burnley. Striker Kelechi Ihenancho was an unused sub, while pacey winger Ahmed Musa still remains frozen out of the squad.
Alex Iwobi : the Eagles midfielder was introduced in the first half of the game as his wasteful Arsenal side lost to a Clinical Manchester United. Iwobi however, put in a very good performance for his team.
Ola Aina: Ola was an unused sub as his Hull City side managed to grab a late point against Sheffield Wednesday. The game also featured Eagles hopeful Fikayo Tomori.
Chidozie Awaziem: the young defender was yellow carded as he played the entire 90mins for his team in a 1-1 draw against host Saint- Etienne .
Eagles such as Leon Balogun (injury). Tyronne Ebuhehi (suspension) Daniel Akpeyi (injury) were not in the match day squad for the weekend, looking forward to seeing them next week..
