Chelsea will face Manchester United in the 2018 FA Cup final after beating Southampton 2-0 at Wembley on Sunday.
Olivier Giroud, picked ahead of Alvaro Morata to start the game after scoring twice against Southampton in the Premier League last weekend, bagged the first in the 46th minute.
And Morata, a late substitute, headed home the second in the final 10 minutes to book a second FA Cup final in as many years for Chelsea under Antonio Conte.
Moments after Morata sealed victory Southampton striker Charlie Austin struck the post. Mark Hughes’ side will now focus their attention on Premier League survival.
