CHAN Eagles begin Nations Cup Preparations

Preparations for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) has started for Nigeria.
Assistant coach Daniel Amokachi took charge of the opening day training in the absence of head coach Stephen Keshi who is not expected until Thursday.
The players were taken through a series of tactical and physical exercises in a section that lasted  over two hours
Golden Eaglets duo of Dele Alampasu and Taiwo Awoniyi were the first to arrive camp on Monday.
As at Monday evening all the 30 invited players had arrived the Fifa Goal Project of the Abuja National Stadium where camping is taking place.
Ejike Uzoenyi was the only player who did not train with the team.Uzoenyi was excused from training as a result of malaria which he is reported to be suffering from.
The tournament starts from January 11 in South Africa with Nigeria making her debut appearance haven failed to qualify for the two previous editions.
