The Argentina international has picked up a thigh injury and will not be risked, possibly with an eye towards next week’s Champions League quarter-final against Monaco.
A Juventus statement explained that Tevez had left Florence on Tuesday due to “discomfort felt from flexor muscle fatigue in his right thigh”.
Juventus were already facing a tough task after a Mohamed Salah double earned Fiorentina a 2-1 victory in the first leg in Turin.

The 31-year-old has scored 17 goals in 27 league appearances and is the top scorer in the league.
