Bournemouth Batter Chelsea As Top Four Hopes Take A Huge Hit

Chelsea dropped out of the Champions League positions after a surprising drubbing at the hands of Bournemouth.

Josh King scored twice with David Brooks and Charlie Daniels also on point as the Cherries pulled off one of their most significant victories in the club’s history.

It’s the second Premier League defeat on the bounce after Chelsea lost to Arsenal at the Emirates last week, and with Maurizio Sarri telling the press that if Eden Hazard wants to go “he has to go,” you suspect all is not well at Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal took advantage of the defeat, moving into fourth place on goal difference. Manchester United players will be headbutting the wall after dropping two points against Burnley, making them unable to take full advantage of the slip-up.

Liverpool 1 vs 1 Leicester

Liverpool failed to take full advantage of Manchester City’s defeat by Newcastle as they were held to a draw by Leicester at Anfield on Wednesday.

Liverpool would have gone seven points clear at the top of the table with a win over the Foxes.

Liverpool couldn’t have asked for a better start to the game after Sadio Mane scored Liverpool’s fastest league goal in nearly three years, with just two minutes one the clock.

Harry Maguire deservedly drew level for Leicester in first-half injury-time after the host failed to deal with a free kick carelessly concedes by Andrew Robertson as it summed up the nervous state of affairs at the top of the table as Liverpool seek their first league title in 29 years.
