Arsenal have been warned that their upcoming fixtures before Christmas present a harder task than the games they have already played
Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has warned Arsenal that things are about to get tough for the Premier League leaders.
Ars├¿ne Wenger’s side sit two points clear at the top of the table, but they are in fact five points down on the same fixtures last season.
A tough fixture list sees them face Manchester United and Liverpool next month before taking on Manchester City and Chelsea in December.
Villas-Boas, whose Spurs side are three points adrift in fifth place, said: “We will see the big fixtures coming now for Arsenal.
“They have only played us so far and they have both Chelsea and Manchester City to come, and Liverpool.
“I suppose the fixture list at the moment is in favour of Manchester United as they have played all the big teams so far, apart from us, so that will give them a chance to bounce back, for sure.”
Only four points separate the top seven Premier League sides and Villas-Boas insists the league is wide open.
He added: “The league looks extremely open. The team in 14th place has 10 points ÔÇö only nine fewer than the leaders.”
