Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah was pleased with his debut in the Italian Super Cup but is determined to remain grounded.
The Ghana international produced a man-of-the-match display in the Old Lady’s 4-2 extra-time victory over Napoli, scoring one and laying on another.
The 23-year-old was one of a number of new faces in the Juventus line-up in Beijing and he has his sights set on retaining the Serie A title at the end of the upcoming campaign.
“It’s great that I started this way but there so many games to go,” the former Udinese man told Football Italia.
“I can’t afford to be super happy now. We can leave it for later when we win another Scudetto.”
Juventus begin their title defence at home to Parma on August 25.
