Nigerian international Omatsone Aluko has returned to action after about four months on the sidelines.
The former Rangers man has been ruled out since October with an Achilles problem that has restricted him to just eight appearances this season before this game.
His last appearance for Hull City was in their 2-1 loss to Everton on October 19, 2013.
The 24-year-old came off the bench for Nikica Jelavic in the 78th minute with Hull already two goals up courtesy of strikes from Shane Long and Jelavic.
The Tigers now have 27 points and occupy the eleventh position on the Premier League table.
