Hull City winger, Sone Aluko has expressed the delight of his team mates to be in the final 4 of the English Fa Cup.
The Tigers are within touching distance of winning the cup as Hull City would lurk horns with Championship side, Sheffield United for a place in the Finals after tearing apart Sunderland in the round of 8 fixtures.
“The squad is really buzzing. That was a really good result for us on Sunday and we put in a really strong performance,” he told the club website.
“It was an open game for long periods and I thought we got better the longer it went on and controlled it.
“Obviously goals change games and the game was over once we got the second. The atmosphere in the ground was really good and the fans got right behind us. The team really appreciated that.
“It feels good to be back out there, especially with us winning games as well. Obviously I was disappointed to miss the penalty on Sunday, but apart from that I felt I did okay,” concluded Aluko who missed a first half penalty in the game.
