Watford have announced the signing of Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye on a five-and-a-half-year deal.

The 22-year-old joins the Hornets for an undisclosed fee from Eredivisie outfit.
The highly-rated young goalkeeper will remain at Sparta Rotterdam (on loan) until the end of the season.
He was Rotterdam’s Player of The Year last season and will be joining Etebo, Dennis and Ekong at the Vicarage road.
The Premier League side confirmed this in a statement on its official twitter page on Monday evening.
The statement reads;
“We’re pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached to sign Maduka Okoye on January 1, 2022. The Nigerian goalkeeper joins from @SpartaRotterdam where he will return on loan until the end of the 2021/22 campaign.”
The Nigeria international played in the youth ranks at Borussia Mönchengladbach, Bayer Leverkusen and Fortuna Düsseldorf before moving to Sparta Rotterdam in the summer of 2020.
