Newly promoted Premier League club, Watford have confirmed the transfer of another Nigerian and Super Eagles star, Oghenekaro Etebo.
Etebo has sealed a season-long loan move from Championship side Stoke City to the Hornets who have an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
Watford FC is pleased to confirm the signing of Peter Etebo on a season-long loan from Stoke City, with an option to buy
the club said in a statement on their official website.
The box to box midfielder, who began his career at Warri Wolves in the NPFL, joined Stoke City in 2018 before loan spells in the LaLiga with Getafe and the Turkish Super Lig with Galatasaray.
Etebo, 25, becomes the fifth Nigerian and Fourth Super Eagles player at Vicarage Road after William Troost-Ekong, Isaac Success, Bonaventure Dennis and former Manchester City youngster, Tom Dele-Bashiru.
