Napoli forward – Victor Osimhen delivered a quickfire goal and assist to help his side seal a comfortable Serie A win vs Sassuolo on Saturday afternoon.
The Super Eagles star notched his 7th headed goal of the season in all competition and his 6th in serie A in Napoli 6-1 victory over Sassuolo.
Minutes after this goal, he bagged an assist as well to cap his stunning performance in their home victory.
Kalidou Koulibaly fired the hosts in front with a powerful header seven minutes into the clash, following Lorenzo Insigne corner kick cross before Osimhen doubled the lead with another thumping header in 15th minute.
The Super Eagles striker later turn provider as he set up Hirving Lozano to make it 3-0 four minutes later.
Dries Mertens scored goals in the 21st and 54th minutes to add to Sassuolo’s misery.
And to think its all over for Sassuolo, Napoli grabbed yet another goal in 80th minutes through Amir Rrahmani, who completed the rout with right footed shot from the centre of the box to the bottom left corner.
It took Sassuolo just three minutes to stoppage time to grab a consolation goal as Maxime Lopez made the scoreline 6-1 in 87th minutes.
