Arsenal on Saturday afternoon defeated Newcastle United 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium after a superb second-half effort.
The Gunners broke the deadlock through Bukayo Saka’s stunning strike, before Gabriel Martinelli secured the three points with his first Premier League goal at home in 22 months.
After referee Stuart Atwell failed to give a penalty to Callum Wilson, who fell down in the box under pressure from Nuno Tavares with the score at 1-0, Martinelli added the decisive second for the hosts seconds later.
Better second half! Improved movement & two quality finishes ??

Even though Eddie Howe suffered his first defeat as Newcastle manager, there were some positives to take away, even though they are still winless this season.
Arsenal will be looking to battle Manchester United next in Premier League on Thursday at Old Trafford against.
While Newcastle will be hoping to bounce back when they play Norwich City at home on Tuesday in a crucial game for them at the bottom of the standings.
