Thomas Tuchel’s side yet again clinched an important three points with their 0-1 away victory over Swedish side Malmo in the UEFA Champions League.
Hakim Ziyech scored the winner for Chelsea in the 53rd minute after Tuchel’s men were unable to break the opposition defence in a goalless first half.
A well worked pass and move routine in a tight spot between Callum Hudson Odoi and Kia Havertz opened the space for a pass into the penalty box that found the Tunisian who tucked in the goal from close range to break the deadlock.
Meanwhile, Christian Pulisic made a return to the Thomas Tuchel side after being out since August 14 due injury.
The 23-year-old came in as substitute to replace Callum Hudson Odoi in 75th minute and missed a golden opportunity to double the lead for the Blues.
The defending Champions will be looking to secure a spot in the round of 16 before the last round of matches.
