Nigerian forward, Yusuf Olaitan Otubanjo, has received his award as Armenian Premier League best footballer of the Month for October 2021.
After his goal-scoring form for Ararat Armenia, the former Salzburg, BW Linz, Zilina, Altach, and LASK forward was awarded the league’s top player for the past month.
He won the award after scoring four goals in three games.
The 29-year-old scored a brace during Ararat Armenia’s 3-0 win over Ararat Yerevan on October 17, followed by another brace when his team defeated BKMA 2-3 on October 27, after which he failed to score in his club’s 2-1 victory over Alashkert on October 24.
Ararat Armenia leads the league table with 34 points after 13 games, seven points ahead of Pyunik Yerevan. Ararat Armenia’s next game is against Noah on November 19.
