Alexandre Lacazette has officially joined Lyon yet again on a free transfer from Premier League side Arsenal, despite the Ligue 1 side not booking European football spot next season.Official: Lyon re-sign Alexandre Lacazette yet again

the 31-year-old became a free agent after seeing out his contract with the Premier League side and decided to return back to the Ligue 1 side – Lyon until the summer of 2025

Lacazette had a tough season in front of goal this season, as Arsenal fell short of qualifying for the Champions League to arch rivals Tottenham.

The striker appeared in 30 Premier League games but only scored four goals, his lowest total since the 2012-13 season, when he only registered three goals in the league for Lyon.

Lacazette, on the other hand, was a driving spark for Mikel Arteta’s side, with seven assists tied for first place with Bukayo Saka.

Considering that Lacazette was the last non-PSG player to finish as Ligue 1’s undisputed top scorer, Bosz will be expecting the forward to deliver that creativity and rediscover his feet in front of goal for Lyon next season.
