Former Super Eagles’ star – Odion Ighalo on Friday grabbed a brace to help Al-Shabab secure win over 10-man Al-ittihad in the new Saudi Premier League season.
Ighalo’s brace was his eight goal of the season in 9 games as Al-Shabab sealed a 2-0 win and all 3 points away from home.

The 32-years-old notched the opener for Al-Shabab 22 minutes into the game before the hosts were reduced to 10 men in 50th minutes.
Ighalo went on to double this tally of the game and sealed the win for the visitors in 68th minute.
After the match, the forward took to his social media page to dedicate his goals to God.
According to him;
“I vow to return all glory to God.”
The Péricles Chamusca side now move to 3rd spot in the league stand with 15 points, just two points below Al-ittihad.
Ighalo, who played 90 minutes for Al Shabab in the Saudi professional league, round 9 received an 8.5 rating from Sofascore.
