After putting up yet another great performance to easily defeat their rivals and win the North London Derby on Sunday, Arsenal is getting closer to claiming the Premier League title.
At the top of the Premier League, Mikel Arteta’s club now has an eight-point lead after defeating Tottenham 2-0 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Arsenal took the lead after Hugo Lloris scored an own goal by deflecting Bukayo Saka’s attempt from a tight angle over the goal line.

Martin Odegaard increased Arsenal’s lead and added his eighth league goal of the season with a superb long-range shot.
In the second half, Tottenham pushed to retaliate, but Aaron Ramsdale stopped Harry Kane and Ryan Sessegnon.
The Gunners held on to keep a clean sheet, win the game, and earn all three points as they get closer in their pursuit of the Premier League championship.
This Premier League season, Arsenal has won all seven London derbies while not giving up a single away goal.
On Thursday, Tottenham will play its following match against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium. Another vital matchup for Arsenal’s prospects of winning the title will take place against Manchester United the following Sunday at home.
