He won the Italian league under Jose Mourinho and spent his remaining contract years on loan

In a recent interview with FcInternews.it , Obinna never felt regret for playing for Inter Milan, to put it clearly
“it was very exciting when i signed for Inter, some of my compatriots like Taribo West, Kanu and Martins had all won the jersey and it was a dream for me to follow in their footsteps as a child”

A fantastic midfielder on his A days, Joel Obi just like Obagoal also broke through into the first team from the reserves. He waa promoted to the first team by Jose Mourinho.

Joel had a decent time in the club, he won the 2011 Coppa Italia and Supa coppa cup. His switch from a defensive midfielder to central and attacking midfield made him viable when he is called upon. Joel Obi has plenty of praises for the managers he played under.
In my past, i have had great managers who had taught me a lot. One of the best was Jose Mourinho who promoted me to the first team, then, i think of Benitez who gave me first team debut. I have to thank them and Walter Mazzari

Victor Moses is the last Nigerian to wear the famous Pirelli shirt. One will recollect that Moses won the EPL and FA Cup under Conte at Stamford bridge.
Conte is the best coach i have ever had. He helped me believe in myself and the point is precisely in the human attitude, not because i found a new position on the right wing
