FC Nantes won the fourth Coupe de France title with a 1-0 victory over Nice at Stade de France, and Moses Simon earned his first trophy in France.
The Nigerian winger played a key role in Nantes’ Coupe de France victory over Nice.
Moses Simon, one of the brightest star for Nantes made three vital passes, five crosses, and one miss target as he featured for just 73 minutes in the game.
In the first half, Nice had the game’s first attempt, but it was Nantes who came pretty close to netting, but Nice goalkeeper Marcin Bulka stopped them twice.

After a stalemate in the first half, Nantes took the lead in the 47th minute thanks to Ludovic Blas’ penalty following a handball infringement in the area.
Even as Nice attempted to force their way back into the game, Alban Lafont’s excellent performance in front of goal was Nantes’ saving grace.
Nantes head coach Antoine Kombouare later replaced Simon with Osman Bukari in the 73rd minute.
Despite the last-minute barrage from Nice, Nantes held on for the important victory.

The victory means that Nantes will participate in Europe next season, irrespective of where they finish in Ligue 1.
