Manchester City took all bragging rights in the Manchester Derby at Old Trafford with a 2-0 win for Pep Guardiola’s men.
In a game dominated by Manchester City from Scratch to finish, United had David De Gea to thank for keeping the scoreline respectable with his busy first half display.
The first goal of the game came from an own goal after City worked their way into the Red’s defence and the whipped cross was met by an unlucky Eric Bailly’s foot and into his own post.
City were running the United’s Defence riot but De Gea was keeping United in the game with several great saves but wasn’t sharp enough to stop the second goal from that was knocking from coming.
An inswinging cross from Cancelo that was poorly dealt with by the United defence was met by the foot of a sharp Bernado Silva past the very edge of the Spanish Goalkeeper and his near post.
City dominated the final 25 minutes of the game and saw out their Mancunian rivals.
