Ademola Lookman scored his first goal in Atalanta’s 2-0 win over Sampdoria away from home, making an outstanding start for the Serie A club.
In his Serie A debut, the Super Eagles star had an instant impact after being brought on as a second-half substitute, giving Atalanta the victory on the road.

In the 63rd minute of the fiercely contested game, Lookman, who recently joined Atalanta from RB Leipzig for €15 million, came on to replace Luis Muriel.
Rafael Toloi gave Atalanta the lead in the 26th minute after being set up by Mario Pasalic. After receiving a pass from Ruslab Malinovskyi, Lookman then sealed the victory and three points in overtime.

He didn’t score, though, until after 90 minutes had elapsed, when, with what was almost the last kick of the game, he provided Atalanta with a second goal.
The 24-year-old moved deep to stop a Sampdoria drive on the Atalanta goal before seizing a loose ball.
Immediately after his superb control and pass, Atalanta attacked. After taking a Sampdoria defender out of his way, he calmly drives in his shot for the goal.
