Nigeria Professional Football League will be looking to kick off on the 21th November 2021 and ends June 26 2022.
The League Management Company on Monday released the 2021/2022 football season calendar and that of 2022/2023 football season to all the twenty participating clubs.
This was disclosed in a statement by the Management Company Chief Operating Officer, Ma’am Salihu Abubakar via the letter sent to all the 20 participating clubs.
“The proposed date for the 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League will kick on 21 November 2021,” the statement reads.
Meanwhile, Niger Tornadoes FC, Minna, Remo Stars, Shagamu, Shooting Stars SC, Ibadan and Gombe United will all compete alongside other 16 clubs.
The four clubs gained promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League after securing their promotion from the second division playoffs last August.
