Real Madrid have qualified for the semi-finals with a 5-4 aggregate, despite losing the second leg 3-2 at the Bernabeu. Karim Benzema strikes again, smashing Chelsea out of the Champions League.

The Blues came close to pulling off a remarkable comeback with goals from Mason Mount, Antonio Rudiger, and Timo Werner.

Mason Mount pulled the Blues back into the contest with a crisp strike just 15 minutes into the encounter.

Rudiger then tied the game 3-3 on aggregate with a beautiful header past Courtois six minutes into the second half.

In the 75th minute, Timo Werner put the Blues ahead. The German kept his composure and hammered a low strike into the back of the net.

Luka Modric, on the other side, used a bit of magic to break down the visitors’ defense, allowing Rodrygo to tie the game and force extra time.

Only for Karim Benzema to wreak havoc on Thomas Tuchel’s side once again, netting his fourth goal of the tie to seal Los Blancos’ place in the last four.
