Nigerian international – Joe Aribo, is back with a bang after netting an incredible goal for Southampton in the Premier League to open his goal-scoring account.
In his second outing for Southampton, Joe Aribo scored his first Premier League goal less than a week after completely dismantling Villarreal team.
The Nigerian midfielder scored his first Southampton’s goal in the English Premier League in Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Leeds United after coming off the bench.
Southampton were just lucky enough to come from behind to draw 2-2 with Leeds United at the St. Mary’s Stadium.
Rodrigo’s two goals gave the Whites the advantage early in the second half, but the Saints showed some courage to rally back into the game.
After coming off the bench, Joe Aribo scored Southampton’s first goal to kick off their comeback. Armstrong with his brilliant cutback to locate Aribo, who scored to reduce the deficit to 2-1.

With a composed effort, Kyle Walker-Peters levelled the score for the home team with a low shot past Meslier that brought his side back into the game.
Mara made a strong first impact by quickly eluding his opponent and then setting up a teammate to make the score 2-2.
Walker-Peters skillfully avoids Harrison with a good first touch before burying his shot.
Both sides had no choice but to share the points as they failed to grab the winner at the end of the final whistle.
The next Saturday, Southampton will travel to Leicester. Leeds’ next game is against Chelsea on Sunday at Elland Road.
