Moments later, Aribo had the ball in the net once more but was called for offside. Soon after, Villarreal took the lead for a second time as captain Gerard Moreno took advantage of some shoddy defending from Jan Bednarek to put the visitors back in front.
With each minute they spend playing together, Joe Aribo and Walker-Peters got along better, and he received an 8/10 for the game.
His colleague was able to drive into the box because of some deft runs he made into the right channel.
Aribo finished the first half with a great touch that brought down a high clearing, and he then sent Djenepo on a swift counter.
Took his goal in a classy manner, taking up the ball in his own area and advancing all the way into the Villarreal box before cutting to his left foot and easily curling past Reina.
