In Leicester City’s 2-1 triumph over PSV in the Europa Conference League quarter final second leg, Kelechi Iheanacho and Ademola Lookman were both involved to help Premier League team seal victory.

The Foxes accomplished a remarkable comeback victory to move to their first-ever European semi-final with goals from James Maddison and Ricardo Pereira.

In the 14th minute, Kasper Schmeichel turned over Mario Gotze’s effort, giving the Dutch a 1-0 lead.

Harvey Barnes was set clear by Nigerian attacker – Kelechi Iheanacho in the first half, but the 24-year-old Englishman side-footed beyond of Yvon Mvogo’s left-hand post.

Following the miss, PSV dominated for a spell, culminating in the game’s first goal.

As Tielemans attempted a basic pass to Jonny Evans, he failed to spot Gotze loitering nearby. The German tracked down Zahavi, whose angled shot was diverted beyond Schmeichel thanks to a slight deflection off Evans.

Ademola Lookman and Patson Daka were brought on at halftime to replace Albrighton and Barnes, with a vital second half ahead.

They were both engaged in City’s next attempt almost immediately, but during the build-up, Daka was dispossessed in the PSV box.

The visitors trailed at halftime and missed chances until James Maddison equalized with 13 minutes remaining, and Pereira sealed the victory in the 88th minute.

Kelechi Iheanacho played 65 minutes and provided three chances in the second leg of the UEFA Conference League Quarterfinals, while Ademola Lookman came on as a second half substitute and also created two chances.

This competition’s winners will be entitled to compete in the Europa League the following season.
