On Sunday, Ankara Keciorengucu defeated Altay with a stunning win thanks to a standout effort by Nigerian player Ibrahim Olawoyin, who helped his team win.

Ibrahim Olawoyin net first league goal of the season for Ankara KeciorengucuWith his first goal and first assist of the season, Ibrahim Olawoyin earned man-of-the-match honors as Ankara Keciorengucu defeated Altay convincingly 3-1 to claim all three points in Turkish Division 1.

Despite an evenly matched first half, the away team quickly took the lead with a goal from Hamza Gür in the 23rd minute. With Olawoyin Ibrahim’s assistance, Gür had excellent ball control and ended up scoring with a deft shot. This score marked the end of the first half.

In the second half, the visitors continued to play well, and in the 56th, an apparent own goal by Kutay Yokuslu made it 2-0.

Olawoyin Ibrahim was spotted in the left side of the penalty area, and after striking the ball with his attempt, the ball met the defense and went straight into the goal, the goal was awarded to him after much debate.

Later, in the 80th minute, Marco Paixao pulled one back for Altay to lower the deficit to 2-1. However, goal from Bekir Karadeniz one minute later secured the win for Ankara Keciorengucu.

This result gave Ankara Keçiörengücü their first win of the campaign and increased their point total to 4, while Altay once more utterly failed to score a point this week.

The 24-year-old has so far contributed three assists in his three games for Ankara Keciorengucu in the TFF First League.

With only 4 points from 3 games, Ankara Keciorengucu are now in eighth place and will play Sakaryaspor at the Aktepe Stadium on Sunday.

Their opponents, who are at the bottom of the standings without a point, will be looking to grab their first win of the new season when they play Adanaspor next.
