Ibrahim Olawoyin and Emeka Eze score in Ankara Kg’s home victory

Ankara Keçiörengücü defeated Manisa BBSK 2-1 on Sunday as two Nigerian players – Ibrahim Olawoyin and Emeka Eze – displayed standout performances.

The home side came from 1-0 down to secure victory and claim all three points from their visitors in the TFF First League, with Ibrahim Olawoyin netting the equalizer and Emeka Eze scoring the winner.

With a penalty kick 28 minutes into the game, Marvin Gakpa, 28-year-old forward, put the visitors ahead.

They couldn’t hold on to their lead as Olawoyin equalized two minutes later before Emeka Eze secured the victory eight minutes into stoppage time.

Ibrahim Olawoyin has eight goals and seven assists in 31 league games for Ankara Kg in Turkey Division 1, while Emeka Eze has 14 goals and three assists in 28 league matches.

Ankara Keçiörengücü goes one point clear of Manisa BBSK in ninth position with the 2-1 victory and a game in hand.

With two games left in the season, Ankara Keçiörengücü will be looking for further wins when they face Buyuksehir on Saturday, May 14.
